By mixing henna paste with other ingredients, you can get practically all modern shades, from fiery red to a bright nut color. Henna is a natural product, nourishes the hair and does not contain chemical compounds (ammonia, oxidants and other harmful substances) unlike chemical dyes).

Preparation: pour boiling water (juice, kefir) over the henna in a ceramic container, then place in a hot water bath until you get the consistency of thick cream. No clumps of henna should remain. The process of coloring with henna takes 1,5-2 hours. The color mixture is applied to cleanly washed and slightly dried hair. It is better to start coloring from the nape of the neck. Then continue to the hairline and temples, and finally apply to the entire length of the hair. Be careful not to get henna on the skin. After all the hair is dyed, massage the henna evenly. Tie the hairy part of the head with a polyethylene film or put a bag, at the same time put a cotton roll on the forehead along the hair growth line, and tie a towel over the film. When the dyeing time ends, the hair should be thoroughly washed with warm water (preferably adding apple cider vinegar). Hair is washed as long as the water that drains from the hair becomes absolutely clean. After dyeing your hair with henna to strengthen the color, it is not recommended to use shampoo for the next 2-3 days.
