Ajwain has a slightly pungent and bitter taste with a very strong aroma.
In northern India, this spice is added to the flour used to make the bread. A popular spice in curry making.
Dosha: Vata - reduces, Pitta - increases, Kapha - decreases. Not recommended for patients with elevated Pita.
