DESCRIPTION
Jaggery is unrefined cane sugar. Jaggery is used as an ingredient in both sweet, savory and lentil soup dishes. By adding cane sugar to food, you can balance its spiciness, sourness or saltiness. Unrefined cane sugar retains more minerals than refined sugar. In Ayurveda, it is believed that jaggery can treat throat and lung infections.
Store in a dry, sealed and protected from moisture place.
