Pippali, or long pepper, is a close relative to all known black pepper, both types of pepper are sharp and warm, but unlike black pepper, it acts as a powerful rejuvenator for the lungs and respiratory system as a whole. Pippali stimulates metabolism, helps maintain a healthy digestion and is a great toxin burner. It is often used in various ayurvedic herbal blends to promote better assimilation of uptake by the plants.

The composition: whole pippali fruits (Piper longum)

Effect:

- promotes digestion and healthy metabolism;

- reduces cough, respiratory infections and fever;

- effective against asthma and tuberculosis;

- regenerates the lungs;

- beneficial for liver health;

Exposure to dosha: V-; P +; K-

Usage: ¼ - ½ tsp. once or twice a day with warm water. In some cases (pregnancy, breastfeeding, severe illness), it is advisable to consult a specialist for dosage. Not suitable for prolonged use and high doses! Do not use in inflammatory diseases!
