DESCRIPTION
Known in Ayurveda as Vrikshamla, it is a tropical fruit traditionally used to support digestion, balance metabolism and aid in healthy weight management. The powder is made from the dried peel of the fruit and has a sour, spicy-sweet taste.
In Ayurveda, garcinia is valued for its profound digestive and cleansing properties. It helps regulate appetite, promote healthy fat metabolism, improve digestion, promote healthy weight management, and control water retention and bloating.
Recommended for people with Kapha-dominant imbalances, such as slow digestion, a feeling of heaviness, or a slow metabolism.
Usage: 1.5g per day (preferably divided into two doses) 30 minutes before meals. You can mix with warm water, add to smoothies or add to curries. Always start with a small dose to observe how your body reacts.
When taken with warm water it will stimulate digestion and balance Kapha dosha. When taken with honey it will improve fat metabolism (suitable for Kapha constitutional type). When taken with buttermilk it will improve digestion and intestinal health.
