Country of origin: Sri Lanka
A perennial tropical shrub that grows in the humid foothills of India, Sri Lanka and Guatemala.
Cardamom essential oil has a spicy, sweet, light citrus aroma. The oil is obtained by steam distillation from cardamom fruits.
In cosmetics, it is used as a good facial skin toner with slightly whitening properties. It has an antiseptic, antifungal and regenerating effect on the skin.
Cardamom essential oil can be used as an additive to various bath products - oils, foams, adding pure essential oil to the bath - it will prevent and relieve cough, prevent gastrointestinal problems (bloating, spasms), invigorate and tone. Cardamom essential oil additive to massage oil will enhance sexuality, give a warming and toning effect.
Cardamom essential oil can be combined with clove, orange, ylang-ylang, bergamot and cinnamon essential oils.
Use: put 2-4 drops in water in an aroma lamp or on an aroma stone, napkin, cone, wood or unburnt clay so that the aroma can spread in the room. Add 3-5 drops of vegetable oil or sweet cream to the bath. In rooms where there are small children and infants, take 1/2 smaller doses and observe the child's reaction.
Warnings: in its pure form, corrosive and irritating, in contact with the skin, allergies, skin burns and redness may occur. Do not exceed recommended doses. Do not use orally.
Storage: store in the original packaging, tightly closed, in a dark, cool place, out of the reach of children.
