Thanks to the essential oil present in the juice, curcumin is absorbed faster and better by the human body, unlike turmeric powder or extract, where the essential oil is lost and therefore an alkaloid (piperine) is often added to these types of products. Turmeric juice contains all the active ingredients at maximum efficiency and has a spicy, stimulating taste.
