Used in traditional tea ceremonies, it has a rich, mildly sweet flavor and creamy texture, and is highlighted by its bright jade green color.
Moya Matcha Premium is obtained from the first harvest of tea plants that are specially protected from direct sunlight. This ensures a higher content of chlorophyll and L-theanine and a richer, greener color. Only the finest, most tender fresh leaves are collected, dried and ground into a powder.
Moya Matcha Traditional is grown Uji and Kagoshima in regions that have been known for growing the highest quality green tea for over 800 years. These regions are renowned for their fertile soil and clean water. Green tea plants have ideal growing conditions there, thanks to the hills that provide good sunlight, the frequent fogs that protect the delicate leaves from frost, and the high rainfall.
Moya Matcha is carefully grown and harvested on small, family-owned organic tea farms. It is then processed locally in Japan and shipped in small batches to ensure maximum freshness for all our varieties. This helps to preserve all the properties of the tea leaves and maintain high levels of minerals and antioxidants.

Types of preparation:
Traditional - Place two portions of matcha (approximately 1,5 g) into a matcha bowl. Pour 100 ml of hot water (maximum 80°C) over the matcha and stir vigorously with a whisk. Make M-shaped movements until a thick foam forms (approximately 30 seconds). You can then add more water depending on how strong you want your tea.
Modern - Put a teaspoon of matcha (1,5 g) in a mug or glass, pour 100 ml of hot water (no more than 80°C) and mix thoroughly. You can use, for example, a milk frother. Add water, milk or juice to your liking.
Shakeree - Pour a portion into a powder shaker or bottle filled with water, milk or juice. Then close tightly and shake vigorously several times.
Matcha latte recipe - Mix a teaspoon of matcha (1,5g) with a small amount of hot water. Add 200 ml of frothed milk (plant-based or cow's milk). You can sweeten your matcha latte with sugar, a teaspoon of honey, maple syrup or agave syrup.
