Sage essential oil is obtained from the flowering parts of the Salvia sclarea plant. It has traditionally grown in the south of France and Italy. Now it is spread over a much wider region.
Translated from Latin, clary sage is called clear sage, because the plant was already associated with clear vision in the Middle Ages. Clary sage will help with strained and tired eyes.
In cosmetics, this oil will be useful for combined, problematic and oily skin, it helps to regulate the activity of sebaceous glands. Add it to shampoos for oily hair or dandruff.
Clary sage relieves stress and relieves tension. Has an anti-depressant effect. On a psycho-emotional level, it helps to get rid of feelings of guilt and anger. In many places, clary sage is mentioned as a very beneficial oil for women.
