DESCRIPTION
Thailand boasts a variety of rice grains. Red long-grain rice closely resembles brown rice, which has not been processed to preserve nutrients.
Rich in vitamins B1 and B2, fiber, iron and calcium. When cooked, the rice will have a slightly sweet and nutty aroma. It will be firmer in texture than regular white basmati rice. For a softer texture, soak the rice in water for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
