Thailand boasts a variety of rice grains. Red long grain rice is very close to brown rice, which is not processed to preserve nutrients. Rich in vitamins B1 and B2, fiber, iron and calcium.
Cooking rice will have a slightly sweet and nutty aroma. The structure will be harder than ordinary white basmati rice.
For a softer rice texture, leave in water for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
