DESCRIPTION
Svaneti salt (Georgian.Svanuri marili) or Svaneti mixture is a dry mixture of spices traditionally used in Georgian cuisine. Svaneti salt is added as a universal mixture of herbs to meat and fish dishes, as well as vegetable and potato dishes. It is used in soups, sauces, meat and fish dishes, vegetable salads, stews, marinades and pickles. But, for example, in Georgia, where almost every house has its own unique Svaneti salt recipe, it is used simply instead of salt, kept in a dish on the table.
The name of the spice comes from the Svaneti region of Georgia, and although the spice is called salt, the universal spice mix is saturated with 22 different spices and herbs.
