Tamarind (seedless).
Tamarind is added to spicy soups and rice dishes. It gives vegetable dishes and sauces a sour taste. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine because the fruit is rich in vitamin A, organic acids (tartaric acid, citric acid and lactic acid).
