DESCRIPTION
Tamarind concentrate in paste form.
Tamarind is added to spicy soups and rice dishes. It gives vegetable dishes and sauces a sour taste. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine because the fruit is rich in vitamin A, organic acids (tartaric acid, citric acid and lactic acid).
Ingredients: Tamarind (80%), water.
Nutritional value per 100g: energy value 1102kJ/263kcal; fat 0g, of which saturated fatty acids 0g; carbohydrates 59g, of which sugars 31g; fiber 6g; protein 3g; salt 0.30g.
This paste should be used three times less than tamarind. Perfect for authentic Indian and Malaysian food.
