DESCRIPTION
Indian bay leaves (also known as Tej Patta). They enhance the flavor of many dishes. They flavor soups, sauces, stews and boiled vegetables. Bay leaves develop a bitter taste when cooked for a long time, so add them to the dish only at the end of cooking (about 10 minutes before the dish is ready).
Recommended for VATA and KAPHA constitutional type.
