DESCRIPTION
Triphala Gritham (also called Triphala Ghee) is an Ayurvedic massage oil based on ghee and triphala. The original recipe comes from the source text Ashtanga Hrudayam.
Ghee is pure butter fat ("clarified butter") and Triphala is an Ayurvedic classic consisting of three herbs Amalaki (Amla), Haritaki and Bibhitaki.
Triphala Gritham balances all 3 doshas. It improves Ojas, Agni and purifies all 7 Dhats.
Triphala Gritham can be used for Ayurvedic foot massage for example.
