The word frankincense comes from the word “franc encens,” which means quality incense in Old French. Frankincense oil induces feelings of peace, relaxation, and contentment. Add a few drops of frankincense oil to a hot bath to relieve stress. You can also add frankincense to an oil diffuser or vaporizer. Frankincense essential oil is a powerful astringent, which means it helps protect skin cells.
