DESCRIPTION
Called the "eternal root" in India, it has been used for thousands of years for curative purposes, with a pleasantly sweet aroma and sweet taste. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, anantamula is an effective blood purifier and anti-infectious agent, beneficial for the urogenital system. In Ayurveda, this herb is used as a balancing agent for pittas, which cools and reduces the imbalance caused by the fire element both in the body and on the emotional level.
The composition: anantamula tuber powder (Indian sarsaparilla, Hemidesmus indicus).
Effect:
- promotes the proper functioning of the kidneys and urinary tract;
- helps prevent inflammation and infections of the genitourinary system;
- reduces burning sensation during urination;
- diuretic, helps to remove excess water from the body by increasing urine output;
- increases sperm volume and testosterone levels in men;
- reduces the accumulation of gases in the intestinal tract;
- purifies blood;
- maintains healthy skin;
- reduces anger and irritability.
Exposure to dosha: balances all doshas, especially pitt.
Usage: by ¼ - ½ tsp. drinking once or twice a day or mixing with warm water. In some cases (pregnancy, breast-feeding, severe illness), it is advisable to consult a specialist about the use and dosage.
