You can use Kalonjee seeds as a flavoring agent and this spice is used in various Indian traditional dishes. Black seeds have a distinct flavor and are therefore added to naan bread and dal.
To enhance the aroma and taste of spices, it is advisable to fry them in a pan before adding them to the dish.
